The robotics consortium is working on launching the RuBot marketplace, where it will be possible to purchase components for Russian-made robots and drones. This was told to Vedomosti by the chairman of the board of directors of the consortium, Evgeny Dudorov.

The marketplace is planned to launch in early 2025. The platform will work on the principle of eBay or Amazon; It will sell microcircuits, chips, receivers, cameras, video transmitters, motors and other components for robotics.
“The existing markets on the Russian market do not allow purchasing components for robots or drones, receiving independent advice or communicating with the manufacturer, so we see potential in the development of this niche,” Dudorov noted.
The first participants in the market will be members of the consortium, including the companies Valdai Robots, Aerob and Omega. RuBot will be monetized through a percentage of the cost of goods and a fixed commission for participation on the site, Dudorov added.
In the current reality, such a project will not be commercially successful: its promotion will require significant investments in marketing, and the small size of the market does not justify the creation of such an aggregator, Alisa Konyukhovskaya, general director of PRO Robots, told Vedomosti. . .
The expert added that the presence of Chinese component suppliers in the market should not be expected, since they are more focused on the domestic market and have their own distributors in Russia.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to launch a program to stimulate demand for robotization of industrial enterprises in 2025, deputy head of the Ministry’s Heavy Engineering Department Alexander Lvov said in early November. Among the support measures is a preferential leasing program at a rate of no more than 5%, the official indicated.
According to calculations by the Institute for the Study of World Markets of the Roscongress Foundation, in 2020 Russia ranked 27th in the world in terms of the acquisition of industrial robotics. The leading industry in the use of industrial robots in Russia is metallurgy. Most of the time, robots perform packaging and welding work.
