Other cryptocurrencies also showed growth. The second most popular token, Ethereum, has risen in price by 4.88% in the last 24 hours, while the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which is supported by SpaceX founder Elon Musk, has risen in price by 17, 63%.
The price of Bitcoin is constantly growing against the backdrop of Republican Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections. On November 11, the value of the token for the first time exceeded 84 thousand dollars, on November 12 it almost surpassed the mark of 90 thousand dollars and on November 13 it updated its all-time high, reaching 91 thousand dollars.
Trump is loyal to cryptocurrencies and promised to make the United States “the crypto capital of the planet and the Bitcoin superpower of the world.” Additionally, the future president, according to The Washington Post, is considering candidates who support cryptocurrencies for positions in the country’s main financial agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
