According to leaked ECSM_Official, Intel’s Raptor Lake processors will be released in October. The non-K version of the CPUs would hit the market in the first quarter of 2023.
ECSM_Official shared information about China’s Bilibili account, Twitterer @harukaze5719 translated the text† In addition to Raptor Lake, the Z790 chipset will arrive in October, as will the next-generation Xeon CPUs (Sapphire Rapids). According to the leak, we can expect the H770 and B760 chipset just like the non-K Raptor Lakes but by early 2023.
While most 700-series motherboards will only use DDR5, all three manufacturers will launch a DDR4-supported motherboard.
If all goes well, this could be an interesting fall: new processors from Intel and AMD and new video cards from Intel, AMD and Nvidia. With a little luck we can still buy (and pay for) them.
