ChatGPT Windows app is now available to everyone. The app launched in mid-December, then only for ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

In practice, users can refer to OpenAI chatbot exactly as in the web version, but the presence of the standalone application offers some specific advantages, such as support for keyboard shortcuts such as “Alt” + Space bar by default.

A closer relationship with the operating system paves the way for greater integration, such as support for screenshots and customizable keyboard shortcuts.

The latest AI additions like ChatGPT Search and the o1 model are also available in the program. In this case, only subscribers can try them.

Now available in the latest version ChatGPT for Windows is available for free. While in beta, the app was exclusive to paying users.

You can download the ChatGPT Windows app from the Microsoft Store. The program is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
