The volume of the media retail market in 2024 will grow by 58% and reach 437 billion rubles compared to 2023. This was announced by the co-chairman of the electronic retail media committee of the Association for the Development of Interactive Advertising (ARID) , Andrey Volkov, and the CEO of the IT company Easy Commers, Sergey Abramov, reports Adindex.

According to ARIR forecasts, the online segment in 2024 will increase from 163.5 billion rubles to 285 billion rubles, and the offline market will grow by a third and amount to 152 billion rubles. In 2025, the volume of the online segment will increase by 45% compared to the current year, up to 413 billion rubles, the association claims.
In addition, the growth dynamics of e-commerce in 2025 will fall to 27% (in 2023 it was 31%). Experts explained the drop in the indicator by the gradual saturation of the market and the transition “from the stage of rapid growth to the stage of maturity.”
According to ARIR, the pace of development of the retail media market is determined by several trends for the coming year. Among them is the growth of e-commerce as a sales channel in terms of total turnover (experts predict a dynamic of more than 30%), the development of other markets, except Ozon and Wildberries, the main online retailers, and the growth of the number of services. platforms that help automate or aggregate advertising launches.
