The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation has taken the initiative to expand the range of information that providers provide for inclusion in the official register published on the Roskomnadzor website. In particular, it is proposed to complement them with precise data on capabilities, as well as information on the recipients of accommodation services.

If the proposals are accepted, they could come into force from January 1, 2025, writes TASS.
Currently, the registry of 470 companies shows the full and abbreviated name of the supplier, address, TIN, OGRN, legal form and contact person. A draft government decree on the need to replenish this data with new information has been published on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
The explanatory note states that it is important to “supplement the list of provided data with information on the performance and computing power of the hosting provider’s infrastructure” and “information on the persons to whom the computing power is provided.”
Officially, the goal of these innovations is “to increase the efficiency of the implementation of Roskomnadzor’s powers to implement centralized management of the public communications network.”
