Google Play Store, the digital store for Android devices, will soon receive new warnings for user security. The service is now required to warn when a consumer is about to download an app deemed to be low quality.
Information taken from the site Android Authorityfinds new dialogs hidden in code Google Play Store version 43.7.19-31. Messages should appear discreetly in the “About this app” section and will be added automatically by the company, without details about what criteria were taken into account.
Some of the messages displayed on the screen are:
- This app frequently uninstalled compared to similar apps On Google Play;
- This app has few active users Compared to others on Google Play;
- Available on Google Play limited data about users of this app.
With these warnings the platform Denies responsibility for downloading by the userwithout having to take drastic measures like removing the app from the digital store – after all does not violate the service’s internal rules, but is not the best of the alternatives in the catalogue.
For now, there is no estimate for enabling messages in the Google Play Store app for Android.
Is Android 16 already on the way?
