Recently, there was a bug where a bubble containing short phrases such as “Say ‘Stop’ or Say ‘Nap'” would remain on the screen long after the command had been executed. For some users it occurs after an alarm or even by accident. This error may also interfere with other applications such as Gboard.

While disabling emoticons in Settings > Google Assistant temporarily fixed the issue, others report that the issue returned after a reboot. The bug affects multiple Android versions, including stable Android 15 and beta versions of QPR1 and QPR2.
