Production has been stopped since December 2, the interruption will last until December 6: production must be resumed on this day. The suspension of Cybertruck assembly became known not from official Tesla statements, but from internal announcements at the factory: workers were allowed to miss work for three to four days.
The reasons for stopping production are also unknown. This is believed to be due to weakening demand for the Cybertruck. It was planned to sell at least 2 million electric pickups – the company has received pre-orders for this number. However, it is now becoming more and more obvious that interest in the model is waning.
