In total, around 240 people were invited, including partners, influencers, CEOs and executives of cybersecurity companies, as well as NZN employees.

“It is important to talk about this mainly in an educational way and with examples. Since this is such a sensitive topic, people are a little hesitant to watch it. So our main task was to show this in a way that does not shock, but also to show what is happening on the internet,” said director Felipe Payão.

The documentary film is suitable for people who have children, as well as anyone who is close to them and knows a child who may or may not have been a victim of abuse.

“Reidade Violada exists on three pillars: knowledge, education and privilege. So there are special reports on the screen that are not available anywhere else, educational because we teach and give tips on parental control and information because we show what is being done around the world,” he concludes.

Renan Pagliarusi, director of NZN Studios and also the director of the work, announced that shooting began around November 2023, with new recordings taking place until a few weeks before the material was closed.

“Most of what you see in this material would be absolutely normal if it were not in the context of the deep web or criminal network. There are photos of children playing on the playground or swimming in the pool. But when you put those innocent photos into the underworld, it becomes very painful,” Pagliarusi adds.

Violated Reality 3: Sexual Predators premieres next Saturday (14) at 2pm [horário de Brasília]. While the first episode of the series covered credit card fraud, the second episode covered many other types of digital crimes, such as device hacking and Pix fraud.

NZN Content Manager Stephanie Kohn says the documentary has taken a huge emotional toll on her, especially as she is a mother of two daughters. However, the manager maintains that the content was handled in the best possible way.
