Now universities and research institutions will be able to complete the necessary documents online and send them to the ministry.

This innovation aims to simplify the application procedure. The number of documents required will be reduced by 85 percent and the waiting period for a decision will be reduced from six months to five months.

Applicants no longer need to complete attestation cards in the federal information system for state scientific attestation. The Ministry promises to give electronic documents the same care as written applications.

However, the possibility of presenting documents in the traditional format will remain. Universities and scientific organizations can continue to fill out the form in the FIS GNA.
