The project will be carried out by the new technical client, VB Engineering LLC. Experts interviewed by Vedomosti estimated the company’s total investments in new projects at between 130 and 176 billion rubles. If the market puts all declared logistics facilities into operation, RWB’s warehouse portfolio will become the largest in Russia with 4.7 million square meters. m. of real estate owned.
“The new facilities will provide employment to several hundred thousand people, will significantly improve the regional infrastructure and economy, and will also contribute to the even more active development of small and medium-sized businesses,” they say in the RSF press service.
The company also continues to work on expanding current warehouses in Vladimir, Ryazan, Volgograd, Kotovsk, Sarapul, Samara, Saratov, Shushary, Penza, Voronezh, Tver, Yaroslavl, Vladivostok and Rostov-on-Don, RWB noted. The total area of these facilities exceeds 2 million square meters. m., most of them are scheduled to come into operation in the first half of 2025.
Previously it became known that Wildberries would build a warehouse in the Amur region with an area of more than 120 thousand square meters. m It is planned that the complex will annually support 40 million merchandise storage operations and 400 million transport processing operations, in addition to providing employment to about 5 thousand inhabitants of the region. In mid-November, RBC sources reported on the company’s plans to rent a former IKEA warehouse in Yesipovo, near Moscow.
