The company stated that three of its employees were present at the location of the raid, and that representatives of the anti-monopoly authority not only detained them but also copied all personal and official data, violating their rights. Samsung demanded that the court declare these actions illegal and the data be returned.
The company also argues in its lawsuit that it did not violate antitrust laws, despite the investigation’s findings that Samsung, Amazon and Flipkart conspired to launch products exclusively online. Samsung claims that it cooperated with authorities by providing information only as a third party.
