The American service SellCell, which buys and exchanges old iPhones, conducted a survey on the usefulness of Apple Intelligence functions.
The survey included more than 1,000 iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max owners—that is, only those who use Apple Intelligence.
73% of respondents said new AI features are “not very useful” or “add little or no value” to their smartphone experience.
However, 47.6% of iPhone owners cited AI features as a “very” or “fairly” reason for choosing a new phone.

Only 11.6% of posts surveyed are willing to pay for Apple Intelligence. The majority of users (86.5%) are not willing to pay for additional functions, and 1.9% were undecided.
