Last week, the company announced sequels to Onimusha and Okami, the first step in its strategy to revive the popular series.
Developers reported that they plan to pay attention not only to the release of new projects, but also to the return of forgotten intellectual property.
Notably, a new sequel to Onimusha is currently in development and will be released in 2026. This game will be the first project in the list of series long awaited by fans.
Capcom also conducted a survey among players to find out which series are most in demand. Among the frontrunners were Dino Crisis and Mega Man, which could possibly return in the coming years.
The company plans to use its rich game library to release high-quality games and attract both new players and fans of the classics.
