As it turned out, the reason for this lies in the Game Filters and Photo Mode functions, which are active by default and consume system resources.
The issue was discovered by a user who noticed a 15% drop in frame rate in some games such as Black Myth: Wukong.
After disabling the filters, performance returned to normal. NVIDIA has already suggested a workaround: disable filters via App Settings > Features > Overlay > Game Filters and Photo Mode and restart the game.
The company is actively working to fix the bug and will likely release an updated driver soon.
Meanwhile, users are advised to manually disable problematic features to restore performance.
