Founded in 2016, Anybotics developed the Anymal robot, a four-legged, autonomous “inspection” vehicle designed for industrial use; He can even do “parkour”, although it’s not that intense. The robot is equipped with sensors and cameras to monitor equipment in industries such as oil, gas, mining and energy, detect gas leaks and track anomalies.

The company has deployed nearly 200 robots worldwide and is seeing particularly strong demand from large customers who deploy fleets of Anymal robots across multiple sites. The company’s recent financing will support its expansion into the US, where it has opened a new office in San Francisco.
