Ozon will increase order submission fees for some partners

Ozon refers to the new tax rules that will come into force on January 1, 2025 and will apply to entrepreneurs registered in the simplified tax system (STS). For those who received more than 60 million rubles in income this year, there is an obligation to pay value added tax (VAT). A 0.2% fee increase will affect this particular category of Ozon collection point owners.

The changes will be reflected in the application for the operation of the collection point in the near future, according to the press release.

Assistance to operators of collection points whose collection points operate in large residential complexes in Moscow, as well as in all buildings within the Third Transport Ring, will consist of payment of 6% of the point’s turnover instead of 5%.

Previously, delivery operator SDEK and marketplace Ozon agreed to launch joint order pick-up points to improve the availability of delivery service and increase the convenience of logistics solutions for businesses. In the first stage of the project, Ozon collection points will be opened within the existing SDEK collection points in localities with a population of up to 50 thousand people. It is planned to open 100 of these points by the end of 2024.

Trading on the markets has become especially popular among zoomers, Tochka Bank analysts found in a December study. A third of entrepreneurs between 15 and 26 years old are dedicated to this type of business.
