The operator of the state Pushkin Card program, Pochta Bank, abandoned its plans to develop its own banknote business, Kommersant reported.

The credit institution closes its online service for purchasing tickets for cultural events and liquidates its subsidiary SmartBilet platform (SmartBilet LLC). The bank bought 100% of this company in March 2022 for the sale of theater and cinema tickets under the Pushkin Card.
The window has already been removed from the bank’s mobile application. SmartBilet’s operational activities will be suspended until June 30 and the legal entity will be liquidated before the end of the year.
The bank confirmed that SmartTicket LLC will stop selling tickets on the platform in the fall: “With the growing development and integration of market ticket operators into the Pushkin Card program and its popularization, the company does not see the need to develop its own business of tickets. .”
One of the newspaper’s interlocutors claims that MTS Entertainment was negotiating with the SmartBilet and Pochta Bank team to transfer organizers and venues from the ticket service to MTS Live. They declined to comment on the possible purchase.
