This service has been gaining momentum in Russia for a couple of years in space – and now, when prices for trips to the country have almost skyrocketed, it is becoming more and more relevant.
Let’s see how it works.
What’s the big deal about Drivee?
The app has been available for a couple of years now.
Drive is a service for ordering regular trips and courier delivery, where users can negotiate prices and conditions directly. Simply put, you, as a passenger, set the price of your trip. The driver chooses whether to accept this price or offer another.
The price puts youand not a “server” or some “opaque” algorithms. If you want to travel for a certain amount of money, think about it. If it is adequate and marketable, then a driver will be found.
In some major cities, the app will list your preferred fare for a given route. For example, this works in Moscow. You can offer any price with this recommendation in mind.
The application provides the rating and number of visits by drivers and passengers. You can share information about the trip and the situation with loved ones. There’s also a ‘safety button’ and 24/7 chat support for added peace of mind on the go.
How to use Drivee to book rides
A phone number is enough to register.
First, download Drivee from the App Store or Google Play (available in RuStore and Huawei App Gallery).
Register an account with your phone number, that’s all – you can order trips. How to complete the first few incidents, find your rating and order history in the main menu.
To plan horizontally, go to the map section and enter your current address, by default you select a geolocation point. Next is the drop off address.
Drivee then calculates the route and price. It’s called “recommended” for a reason: it’s just a price that the system considers adequate based on previously completed trips to the same distance. It already contains all the reasons, including road reasons, for example:
You choose the cost of the trip yourself.
This price possible and necessary: For example, I always add 10 to 25 percent to it just from the House of Representatives to the drivers. But no one forbids setting a price below recommendations.
Finally, please include options such as child seats, large luggage, or traveling with a pet in the order comments. You can also choose a payment method: cash, transfer or card (in some cities). That’s it, place your order.
You will now begin to issue notifications from drivers. They indicate the name, rating and make and model of the car. Some will be ready for your price, others will offer theirs. When you find an option that suits you, agree and wait for the driver to arrive. And when you arrive at the landing site, pay for the cover using the chosen method.
As a result, the process is practically no different from a regular visit to other services, except for the most important thing: you set the price and choose.
What else can Drive do?
Intercity travel. Convenient service for traveling to other cities. Indicate the delivery city and delivery city, date, time and address, as well as the price. Influencing the spread of offers is much more convenient than ordering a taxi.
Courier delivery. Delivery of parcels up to 20 kg door to door. Order courier services to send and receive parcels from local cafes and shops. Here you can also offer your price. The courier’s position is tracked first.
