This growth was the result of a significant acquisition of shares by the US company SW Investment Management. Experts say the tightly controlled shareholder base, with more than half of the shares owned by two investors, also contributed to the price rise.
In September, Raspberry Pi reported a 55% increase in EBITDA (the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) to $20.9 million and a 61% increase in revenue to $144 million. Total Pi 5 sales increased by 31%, with 1.1 million units sold in the first half of the year. Despite slightly lower sales volumes than expected, their shift towards higher margin models contributed to profit growth.
