As The Information learned from an anonymous company insider, ByteDance plans to spend $7 billion on Nvidia chips in 2025. If it achieves this, it will become one of the largest owners of this manufacturer’s chips in the world, despite US attempts to restrict Chinese companies from purchasing US chips for artificial intelligence.
