The presence of such information in open sources threatens the security of the facility and its activities, in particular, the timely supply of products for defense needs, writes TASS.
In 2024, the refinery involved in the case was targeted by drone attacks four times because it is located “in one of the Russian regions on strategically important territory.”
Yandex will be given one month to remove the materials and will be required to pay a fee (the amount is not disclosed). Before the decision comes into effect, the platform has the possibility of appealing it. As part of the process, a Yandex representative has already opposed the claim, indicating disagreement with the decision. The court did not support the protest.
