At CES 2025, Roborock introduced the Saros Z70 robot vacuum cleaner with an OmniGrip robotic arm.
An arm located on the top of the vacuum allows it to extend and swivel to pick up fireproof items in its path and pick up small items such as laundry. The main thing is that the weight of the item does not exceed 300 grams.
OmniGrip is equipped with a switch and other sensors for spatial orientation. It is used during cleaning, but only as needed.
By default, the OmniGrip hand will be disabled. You can activate it in the Roborock application, where various settings for the operation of the manipulator are also available. For example, you can ask which objects can be interacted with.
Saros Z70 will go on sale on February 10 at a price of $1600 (~175 thousand rubles). [TechCrunch]
