Chinese insiders shared new information about the iPhone 17 Pro.

According to them, the smartphones come with three 48MP cameras: a 48MP Fusion lens, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and an updated 48MP Tetraprism telephoto lens. Essentially, the telephoto and telephoto cameras are “hybrid fiberglass lenses.” At this resolution, the front cameras are increased to 24 MP.

It is noted that the main sensor of the iPhone 17 Pro will be smaller in contrast to the iPhone 16 Pro – 1/1.3-inch sensor versus 1/1.28-inch. However, this difference is unlikely to be noticeable when taking photographs.

Presumably, this change is due to the new location of the camera modules. According to rumors, they will be located along the horizontal axis, like in the Google Pixel.
