Midnight is an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed to carry passengers. The aircraft’s flight range is up to 160 km and its speed is up to 240 km/h.

Archer has made significant progress in recent months, including signing agreements with Atlantic Aviation and NASA to develop ground infrastructure and study the safety of high-performance battery systems. The company is now focused on completing the second phase of flight testing, which will transition the aircraft from hovering to cruise. Archer will then begin the rigorous process of obtaining type certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
