Furthermore, according to experts, another 8% of the active population will be employed in other sectors. Net job growth will be 7% of current employment, the study’s authors say.

It shows that about half of employers plan to reorient their business in line with AI requirements. Two-thirds of respondents plan to hire people with AI skills and 40% plan to reduce staff where AI can automate tasks.

The study was carried out using the survey method, in which one thousand employers from 55 countries participated.

Vedomosti recalled that in 2024 the federal program “Personnel for the digital economy” was launched in Russia. Its goal is to train at least 777 thousand schoolchildren in new IT skills by 2030, including working with AI, in order to develop the potential of human resources.

Infoline-Analytics CEO Mikhail Burmistrov believes that Russian companies should accelerate the implementation of AI to optimize business processes. According to the expert, large companies can save up to 100 million rubles by implementing AI to solve internal problems.
