The Hiper automatic feeder is a plastic cylinder that consists of two parts: the lower one is responsible for the feed supply and includes electronic filling, the upper one is a reservoir for the feed. Feeder height: 310 cm, weight: 1383 g without tray.
The feeder can be controlled both with the help of physical buttons on the body and through a mobile application. So, by controlling with the buttons, you can serve a portion of food, record and play any sound. The last action allows you to get your pet used to the location of the feeder and the feeding schedule.
To operate the Hiper automatic feeder, you need to connect it using a power supply with 5V1A parameters. The kit already provides the appropriate power supply and a power cable with a round plug. Cord length: 205cm.
To avoid emergencies with feeder power outage, a battery compartment is provided at the bottom of the case. Inside, 3 LR20 elements can be installed, to which power will be transferred in case the main one goes out. To the right of the battery compartment is the main power switch, just above the speaker grill through which recorded sounds are played.
Let’s move on to the top of the trough, which is covered with a plastic lid. There is a desiccant compartment in the back of the bag to remove excess moisture from the food.
The feeding container is easy to detach and allows you to rinse it of food residue. At the base you can see the window through which the food is poured into the tray.
To obtain a feed portion, a 3-blade impeller with a slot in one of the lower sections is used. Through this window, power is supplied in the allotted time, while the drive is moving.

To access the advanced functionality of the Hiper automatic feeder, you need to download the Hiper IoT app and add the appropriate device from the list. In order for the power supply to enter pairing mode, you need to press and hold the power button for a long time until the LED indicator starts flashing. After that, select the home WiFi network, enter your details and give the feeder a name.
After authorization, we get to the main menu of the application, where you can see the current feeding list, the number of servings and the ability to switch to manual mode. Of the useful features, you can select the setting for the number of servings at a time from 1 to 5. Feeding intervals are not limited in any way.
I appreciated all the charms of the automatic feeder during the holidays, when I had to pour dry food into several dishes to keep the cat satisfied for a week. Here you can also add up to 2 kilograms of food at a time (6 packages of 350g each), set a feeding schedule and not worry about an animal that may stay hungry.
Previously, when we went on vacation, my cat would eat almost all the food in a couple of days and then starve. But after a few years, he got used to our frequent outings, and I noticed that when he came back, there was always food left over (I also installed an IP camera a couple of times that monitored the feeding tray). Now I don’t have to worry about that, because with the help of the feeding schedule and the number of servings, I have achieved the optimal result (I hope the cat likes it too).
