Developed by Soliddd Corp, SolidddVision smart glasses feature two front-facing cameras that capture a wide view of the scene ahead. The two screens inside use arrays of tiny lenses, similar to the compound eyes of insects, to project images onto healthy areas of the user’s retina. The brain combines these images to create a complete, clear picture, filling in the missing central vision.
In a trial involving 30 people, the glasses helped increase the reading speeds of all users by at least 50%. A beta version was introduced at CES 2025, and the final version is expected to be released later this year.
