Employees of accredited IT companies can submit applications until February 5. At the same time, Russians who are registered with the army in the Far North regions and equivalent areas can do so until March 6.

The employer must check and confirm the data of specialists in his personal account by February 9, and then send it to the Ministry of Digital Development. For the Far North, the deadline is March 11.

In addition, if an IT specialist does not submit his data to receive a deferral, the company can independently add him to the relevant lists, the Ministry of Digital Development noted.

They added that they would transfer the information to the Ministry of Defense before February 28 (before March 31 in the case of the Far North). The commission will decide on a postponement from April 1 to July 15 (May 1 to July 15 for the Far North).

Earlier, Moscow Military Commissar Maxim Loktev told the Moscow City News Agency that from January 1, residents of the capital from 17 years old can register for military service without visiting the registration office and military enlistment.

“From January 1 to March 31, young people who will turn 17 in 2025 will receive SMS and notifications in their personal account on mos.ru about automatic initial military registration. Your parents will also receive the same notifications. This means there will be no need to visit a recruitment center to register,” Loktev said.
