The chip was tested on the Oppo Find N5 (aka OnePlus Open 2) where it showed interesting results.
In the single-core Geekbench 6.1 test, the chip scored 3083 points, which is comparable to its full-core counterpart. It showed 8865 points in the multi-core test; This is 6% lower than the average result of the 8-core version (9404 points).
The Oppo device on which the chip was tested has 16 GB RAM and runs Android 15.
The drop in performance in multi-core tasks is compensated by improved thermal dissipation, which allows the chip to keep frequencies stable for longer.
Oppo Find N5, one of the thinnest foldable smartphones of 2025, will be released in February. For now, this is the only device using the new version of the Snapdragon chip, but other brands are expected to adopt it soon.
