Aqara.ru announced the presence of FP2 for Russia, which is capable of detecting the presence of a human presence sensor in a room with an upper threshold and recording its location.

The new product can segment a room into 30 zones and monitor up to five people at the same time. There is support fall detection modewhich can be especially useful for people with disabilities. The device detects sudden changes in body position and can activate preset actions by sending a request to the smartphone.

A built-in light sensor helps automatically adjust the light level depending on external conditions. For example, if the day becomes dark due to bad weather, FP2 increases the brightness of the lighting, ensuring comfort in the room.

Local data processing: All operations are carried out on mobile devices, which increases speed and respect for confidentiality.

The gadget can be easily mounted on a wall or ceiling, has a tilt angle of up to 120° and an IPX5 protection rating, which makes it suitable for use in bathrooms.


Power is supplied via USB-C cable

FP2 can be integrated with platforms such as Apple Home, and the settings area can be set through the Aqara Home application. Evolution scenarios change from controlling lighting and curtains to activating security modes.

The cost of the new product has not yet been disclosed.
