Almost half of Russians (49%) admitted that they feel dependent on devices. This is especially common among women (55% versus 43% in men) and young people aged 25 to 44 (55%). This is established in the Avito study, which RB.RU became acquainted with.

According to him, a third of Russians (33%) do not feel dependence on screens, 17% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
Every second survey participant (49%) has already tried to limit device use time. However, 26% noted that it was difficult, 13% will only try such a practice, and 38% do not consider it necessary.
The most popular device for Russians is a smartphone: 94% said they use them regularly. 64% of respondents use laptops or computers, 23% prefer tablets.
In addition, 20% of respondents said that they no longer imagine their life without a smart home with columns, light bulbs, sensors and other devices in voice and manual control. 9% of respondents constantly use e-books.
According to the ITS-Distibation demonstrator from Marvel, in 2024 Russians acquired more than 6 million smart speakers, which is a quarter more than in 2023. The most popular vocal assistant was Alice from Yandex, in second place – “Maroussia” from VK, in the third: “Greeting” from Sbering.
