According to the materials “outlines. Pupps”, the contractor will remove and carry out the disposal of uniforms (T-shirts and sweatshirts) in the amount of 20 tons, of which the majority, 8.7 tons, is located in the central federal district, as well like 10 tons of raincoats, vests and jackets, 7.3 thousand thermo-embedded ones.
Frost Larry, refrigerators, printers, 154 laptops, 278 fasting sections, 181 order picking carts must also be destroyed. Subjects subject to removal are mainly located in large cities of Metro, Lenta, Auchan, Selgros, Magnit, Crossroads and others.
In 2025, more than 65 thousand courier partners cooperate with the “Cooper”, compared to the beginning of last year, their number increased by 15%, the company’s press service told RB.RU. The removal of the clothing and the thermos embedded there was explained by concern for the comfort of the couriers.
“We make sure that mail is always in a new and good shape: this is a matter of convenience and security. For example, reflective items must be in working condition, and partner mailers must be comfortable in shape, so they are quickly replaced due to wear and tear. In this sense, the disposal of branded clothing and equipment that has already been used is carried out annually,” the company explained.
In addition to elimination, Cooper has alternative plans for the use of uniforms. For example, from an unnecessary form of courier, which remained after the rebrand (previously the service was called Sbermarket), the company sewed a bed for cats and dogs from the Nick Charity Foundation.
Sbermard announced the rebranding in July 2024. The company changed the style of the company, launched an advertisement for a new brand, renamed the site and pages on social networks. Now Cooper now works in 360 cities of Russia and offers from 100 grocery chains, 1300 non-food stores and more than 35 thousand restaurants, it follows from the data on the service’s website.
