The Moscow Court decided not to include the funds of a Monaco bank account in the case of inheritance of the founder of the Company Rostagroexport, Boris Alexandrov (owner of the “Empire of the cheese cakes” under the brand “B.yu. Alexandrov” ). The judge found justified the demands of the daughter of a businessman who died in 2020 by Coronavirus not to share this money with other heirs.

According to the plaintiff, the funds at the Monaco Bank are a loan without interest that she granted to her father to obtain a residence permit, recalls Ria Novosti, who knew the result of the litigation.
Initially, when considering the case of the inheritance, the daughter of the businessman, Ekaterina, did not agree with the list of divisible goods, because the funds in the Monaco account belonged to him. The father promised to return them before December 1, 2020, but died the day before.
The possible beneficiaries of Alexandrov’s inheritance tried to present the loan as invalid, but the 2019 bank extracts showed that the businessman’s daughter, Ekaterina, was right. However, the relatives appealed before the Moscow Municipal Court, which proved them right.
After this decision, Catalina was forced to file a new claim to exclude the bank account in Monaco “of the succession mass.” In his opinion, the equitable distribution of the funds of this bank is an “illegal enrichment” of other heirs to his coast.
As a result, the Cheryomushkinsky Court of Moscow ruled in his favor and ordered him to recover from his relatives the funds spent to date in favor of Ekaterina Alexandrova.
It is too early to consider the decision definitive: another daughter of the businessman, Natalya Kokota, intends to appeal. His situation is aggravated by another judicial process: the widow of the deceased, Olga, learned of Natalya’s existence only after Alexandrov’s death and demands before the court that the paternity registration is invalidated in the Kokota’s birth certificate .
An investigation is currently being carried out, the court has ordered an exam and the hearings have been postponed until the results are known.
