The average bill in restoration establishments during the New Year holidays was 2,043 rubles. This is 13% more than in 2023; Then, a meal in a restaurant or cafeteria during the same period cost 1,803 rubles, analysts said.

Voronezh became a leader in the growth of the average invoice (a 43%increase). They are followed by Omsk and St. Petersburg (37%), perm (35%), Krasnodar (19%), Krasnoyarsk (16%), Volgograd and Kazan (15%). The indicator decreased more in Novosibirsk: 11%, and to a lesser extent the amount of the check fell in Rostov del Don (-9%), Samara (-6%), Chelyabinsk (-3%) and Nizhny. Nóvgorod (-2%).

Analysts recorded the highest average bill for New Year holidays in WHO (4,665 rubles), Krasnodar (4,658 rubles) and Moscow (3,472 rubles). The lowest figure was recorded in Kazan (411 rubles), Ufa (591 rubles) and Novosibirsk (816 rubles).

“Most likely, in these cities (where the average invoice has increased – RB.RU) average salaries have increased or have increased employment in some industries and there is no depressive mood, as in other regions. It all depends on how much money the potential visitor has in the pocket, the guest, ”Wine Leonid Garbar, vice president of the Federation of Restorers and hoteliers in Russia told RBC.

The total number of income in public restoration decreased by 5% during the year. According to Ksenia Korzan, Kontur.Market analyst, Novosibirsk was the score: here 25% less checks were processed than the previous year. The amount of checks in the same city decreased by 33%. The reason for these indicators is the sharp fall in demand, so the establishments were forced not to modify prices or reduce them locally, believes Korzan.

During the study, analysts verified 1.4 million receipts in establishments connected to Kontur services in cities with more than one million inhabitants in the period from January 1 to 8, 2024 and 2025.
