The SME Corporation introduced support measures for small and medium enterprises by 2025. The updated tools set will focus more on helping effective companies in the priority industries, said the organizer of the organization Alexander Isaevich to Kommersant.

From the current mechanisms, the guarantees of “umbrellas” of the SME Corporation will be preserved. They will be expanded due to the joint guarantees of “umbrellas” of the Corporation with Regional Guarantee Organizations (RGO) and VEB.RF. The latter will be designed for legal entities involved in the city’s economy sector.
Among the new tools are the program of joint loans with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Companies in the field of machinery and robotics. An updated program will also appear to stimulate the loans (PSK) of the Bank of Russia and the SME Corporation. His restart is scheduled for the end of the first quarter. Loans will be carried out at rates below the key and will focus on priority industries, including tourism, production, logistics, scientific and technical activities.
During the year, a new limit of a preferential loan program of high -tech companies (now is 3% per year) will be launched. For SMEs in the industry field, preferential lease rates will continue to operate: 6% for Russian and 8% teams for foreigners. Requests for benefits will be accepted as of February.
As Isaevich pointed out, support measures will not focus on “everything and immediately”, but will concentrate on effective priority industries for the State. According to him, this should contribute to the expansion of the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the economy of the proposals and guarantee the country’s technological sovereignty.
On January 27, SME Corporation reported that in Russia the number of small and medium enterprises reached 6.59 million.
