If you use such a device based on USB 1.0 drives, the system can stop stealing and the “this device cannot start (Code 10)” error is displayed in the “Device Manager”.
DACs are often used to improve sound quality in home sound systems, professional studios or portable players.
However, due to this Windows update, such devices may stop working. There is currently no solution, and Microsoft recommends temporarily abandoning the use of USB-TAPs and connecting sound devices directly to the motherboard.
The company said it was working on the solution of the problem and that it would publish the correction in the next update.
