According to RusProfile, the only owner of Berkana LLC (legal entity Cybernmasss) was JSC Grow Group of Companies. His CEO is Thursdays, who was previously also his only founder. The businessman refused to comment on the agreement.
Cybermass specializes in the production of protein products, additives and vitamins. Berkana LLC’s revenues in 2023 amounted to 180 million rubles, decreasing by 28% of year per year. The company completed the previous year at least with a net gain of 6.1 million rubles.
The FitnessData research agency said Cybernmasss is part of the 15 main sports nutrition manufacturers, but its market participation is less than 7%. Previously, the founder of Berkana LLC was Andrey Bogdanov. It is now the owner of LLC Solvi Rus, which produces snacks and physical conditioning departments under the Solvie brand.
Nielsen’s analytical company told Kommersant that sales of dietary supplements, vitamins and minerals in 2024 in Russian retail trade increased by 41.9% in monetary terms. In FitnessData, the growth of sales of sports producers vitamins during the past year was estimated at 30-35%.
FitnessData Maxim Borovikov head indicated that the production of sports and additives in Russia has been growing since 2022 due to difficulties with the importation of foreign analogues. At the same time, the expert clarified that only the production of bars, refreshments and serum proteins can be considered on a large scale in the country so far.
