Microsoft has announced a new clothing line that takes advantage of the wave of nostalgia to get good bucks from fans. Making a dubious pun on hardware and “wear”, the Hardwear collection features t-shirts, jackets and hats with retro prints and a few slogans.

One of the main highlights is the t-shirt with the classic Windows XP wallpaper stamped on it. It’s not hard to find in t-shirt stores, but since this product is named after a famous designer, Microsoft considers $60 normal. current quote. The designer in question is Gavin Mathieu and he tries to explain the “effect” of these outfits in the video below.

The Hardwear line also includes a T-shirt with a pixelated bucket reminiscent of the Paint icon for the same price. Not every garment in the collection has prints, but they all evoke the retro style and nostalgia you can see in photos of old computer models. The cheapest item is the cap, which costs US$45 (R$242).

Parts can now be ordered from abroad and will begin distribution in August.
