According to the Thomson Reuters survey, 63% of lawyers already used AI in their work and 12% are constantly doing. However, these technologies have a significant disadvantage – they can safely provide false information. In the sector, this phenomenon is called “hallucinations”.
According to the rules of professional ethics, lawyers need to check all materials before filing a lawsuit. The American Association of Lawyers remembered that even unintentional mistakes made due to AI could lead to disciplinary sanctions.
