Researchers met with more than 10,000 participants by asking the question of how well AI can reproduce human characteristics such as justice, warmth and intelligence. In some professions, they found that the fear of AI is related to how AI is not found in these qualities.

The level of fear varies depending on the country. The US, India and Saudi Arabia showed the greatest concern for judges and doctors with artificial intelligence. Unlike them, Türkiye, Japan and China were less concerned, which was probably associated with a “cultural attitude”. Germany takes the middle position by showing “cautious optimism”.

Among all professions, AI judges caused the greatest concern, and the fears were at least the journalists of AI. Since leadership required empathy and respect, people did not like their ideas and rulers.
