The Robot manipulator of the German brand Kuka KR70 R2100 has a load capacity of 70 kg and a working distance of 2.1 meters. Japanese Robot Kawasaki RS080N can lift at 80 kg and move the load in 2 meters. The company has already collected proposals for the purchase of similar robots in December. In January, Wildberries made a tender for the supply of the Robot Kuka KR 10 R140-2 with a 10 kg load capacity and with additional digital I/O I/O (digital entry and output systems).
The United WildBerries & Russ company confirmed the plans to introduce robots into a warehouse, the company is already testing them.
“The company is actively introducing innovative technologies to optimize warehouse processes. As part of this work, Wildberries proves several models of robots and automated systems, including their own developments and solutions of third -party suppliers. The most effective are integrated into the company’s logistics processes, which allows it to increase the speed and quality of customer service, “explained the company’s press service.
The total area of all Wildberries & Rus logistics objects is 2.8 million square meters. M, he recalled in the company. In total, Market Ples has more than 130 classification centers and warehouses, in which more than 30 classification systems already work, there are robots and hundreds of load equipment units.
To reveal the details of the introduction of robots in the work of the stores and name their number in Wildberries & Russ.
Vladislav Bakalchuk told RB.ru that Marketplais really bought a Kuka robot, but he was inactive.
“As far as I know, Kuka was originally a problem with the software. The question was that the software itself was too raw. It did not provide the desired level of automation for WB processes. And my decision, as far as I know, is not yet ready. Although its minimal functionality was developed, which allowed the process to launch the process, the new leadership decided that this was not necessary. The fact is that Kuka has not earned, which means that it is not used or inactive, ”he emphasized.
According to the co -founder, until the company considers long -term investments in the process process and the project is slow.
The general director of Industrial Automation LLC Mikhail Pakhmeister explained to RB.ru that the Kuka robot can perform at least 2 people per turn, and with the work 24 hours he replaces 6-10 people per month. But to feel the effect, you must introduce at least one robot on the site and load it with work.
“No person can be compared in performance with the robot. The robot is not going to lunch, does not require a break. Most of the time, a pilot project is being implemented in the sites, engineers are familiar with the equipment, fear sheets and then there is an introduction planned based on client’s scale equipment. Savings can always be calculated, it is different for everyone, generally the recovery of projects from 8 months to 5 years. Depending on the task and the workload, ”he said.
- In 2024, the stores faced the lack of staff, wrote the Russian newspaper. According to the director of the Migrant Service Platform, Andrei Kladov, the lack of this category of employees reached 180 thousand people. By 2030, the shortage of personnel in the stores could amount to 50%, for the publication of the head of the Personnel Department of the Federal Transport Company Skif-Kargo, Eva Klimentenko.
Kuka robots can cost 40 thousand to 100 thousand euros, depending on the load capacity and action radius (6 to 300 kg and 80 cm to 3.2 meters). According to Pakhmeister, it is important to know how much the robot costs, but for what time it will be worth it, because in most cases the robots are bought to increase performance, improve quality, increase precision and reduce inactivity time.
The expert explained that the introduction of robots anywhere needs the preparation of the team to work with these teams.
“Most of the time, projects are not implemented due to the lack of qualified specialists. For the right work, engineers who will constantly optimize tasks and, therefore, will improve the work of robotics, “said the expert.
The Pakhmeister added that the introduction of the robots point is already taking place in the Russian markets, the robots are used in orders classification sections. The expert believes that robots can be fully adapted to the platform of any market, and in the world there are already many work solutions, mainly in China.
According to Pakhmeister, the demand for robots for markets in Russia is still in the training stage, but will grow in a spasmodic in the next five years.
