A group of buyers from the United States accuse the company of misleading marketing statements.
According to Apple, the case with the San Jose Federal Court claims that the Apple Watch Series 9, SE and Ultra 2 are not neutral. The plaintiffs say they won’t take an hour or if they know the truth, they will pay less for them.
Apple uses projects to compensate for emissions in Kenya and China to obtain the declared impartiality. However, plaintiffs believe that these programs do not provide a real reduction in carbon leave and that emissions will be reduced without the participation of the company.
The case requires compensation and prohibition of Apple to use the term “carbon neutrality ında in the advertisement.
If the court takes the side of the plaintiffs, it may create a precedent to review the marketing strategies of these large technological companies.
