“The registration of people involving digital currency mines including 518 miners and 91 operators in the Mining Infrastructure Operators Registry,” said the Federal Fiscal Service. They added that the inclusion in the lists is carried out in an electronic application through the Mining Registration Service on the regulator’s website.

All miners (individuals, legal entities and individual businessmen) must inform monthly about the volume of cryptocurrencies extracted through a special section in their personal accounts on the FTS website. “The inclusion in these records, as well as the presentation of reports on the steamed digital currency, will allow miners to carry out activities,” the department explained.

  • On February 21, MTS introduced statistics on the number of mining farms in Russia, according to which in January 2025 there were more than 136 thousand farms in the country, its number of years for the year was 7%.
