The business proposed to postpone during the year the introduction of a taxi location requirement

The bill suggests that only Russian assembly cars will be used for a taxi. The regions may establish their requirements for the level of location. The document was adopted in the first reading in January 2024, the date of the second reading was not determined.

According to the initiative, as of October 1, 2025, it will be possible to use only cars for a taxi that obtained at least 3.2 thousand location points. Today, only four Avtovaz models correspond to this criterion: Lada Vesta, Lada Granta, Lada Largus and Lada Aura. In the RSP, they said that for autumn increase the proposal of localized cars will not be able to increase the complexity of the production organization.

What offers the RSPP? The union called not only to postpone the entry into force of the law until September 1, 2026, but also to expand state programs for support for taxi cars and introduce more strict location requirements. In addition, the RSPP was asked to establish the maximum cost of cars that fall under the location requirements, in 3.5 million rubles.

What threatens self -employment? Of particular concern in the RSPP is the influence of the bill on self -employed drivers, many of which cannot pay new machines that meet the location requirements. This can lead to the care of 100,000 drivers and an increase in transport prices by 15%, warned in the organization.
