The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia launched the third competitive selection of IA developers for greater subsidies support in 2025-2026. For a total of 4,500 million rubles for six or more winners (each will receive up to 758 million rubles). An important condition to participate in the competition will be the presence of CO -CO -EXTRABUDGETA FINANCING at least 30% of the amount of the subsidy.

The Ministry of Economic Developers is looking for the developers of “AI strong” capable of imitating the work of the human brain, as well as the creators of “fundamental and generative models.” The support funds will be assigned as part of the Federal Artificial Intelligence Project of the National Project “Data Economy,” the Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko told Kommersant.

The extrabutegeary financing requirement is designed to attract partners of the production sphere and stimulate the rapid appearance of innovation. Supervising the third competitive selection will be a strategic agency for the support and training of developments of AI (sapphire).

The first contest of this type of the Team Ministry was carried out in 2021, the second: in 2023. According to the results of the work receptors, in addition to scientific research and publications, 15 paintings were created and around 50 solutions applied with 36 partners (Gazprom Neft, Yandex, Sberus, MTS, etc.) were created.
