The defect, known as CV-2024-53 104, was already run when Google released security updates in early February.
Although Google fixes the problem, users are called for immediately updates their devices. Amnesty International Experts warned that Android producers should strengthen security to protect against unauthorized access to USB. Apple has recently released similar updates for iOS.
