Kuiper project is Amazon for SpaceX Starlink. The company plans to bring more than 3,000 satellite orbit to provide worldwide internet access, including companies, state institutions and special users.
Previously, in 2023, the Amazon sent two tests to orbit. However, due to technical challenges in carriers and priority launch for US national security, the deployment of the entire network has been postponed.
The upcoming launch will be performed using the Atlas V missile created by the joint venture Boeing and Lockheed Martin – United Launch Alliance. The first users are expected to test Kuiper services in 2024 and the collective launch of the service is expected to be planned for 2025.
