Messengers either don’t work at all or take a very long time to load and send messages. Failures are observed both when using local and wired Internet.
Roskomnadzor today confirmed that it is limiting the work of instant messengers to counteract destruction.
A RBC source in the telecommunications sector reported that changes in the operation of Telegram and WhatsApp* are related to planned work on setting up technical means of countering threats (TSPU). According to him, “as soon as the work is completed, everything will be as before.”
